ReplyDeleteKristy, you are a lifesaver!!! I just love all of your work and I think you are a hero for sharing! I am following you on TPT, love your products, have bought some and have more wishlisted! I'm really struggling starting my blog and figuring out how to collaboratively pin, etc. I have hundreds of TPT projects to be working on, but have spent all of the last two months trying to figure out the tech learning curve part of the endeavor. I'm not getting any time to work on projects! BUT I think there's hope now that I've found your blog!!!!!! I'll add more to my "Thank you! You are Amazing!" mantra later :)... But for now, here's a question: You mention on the left "Did You Know" that you change out your blog backgrounds. I've been wondering how to add one's own blog background. My blog doesn't look anything like what I want it to or envision. I'm so excited to have found help! Thanks! Laura @ lettersfromthereadingroom@blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOops the article is on the right. :)
ReplyDeleteGot rid of the navbar in seconds. Worked like a charm!
ReplyDeleteYikes! Just wanted any other clueless people like me to have a tip: Once I got rid of navbar I totally had no idea how to get to layout and other design features! Quite likely there are other ways, but one thing that finally worked was: Save the Design Dashboard to your Start Page (Windows 8) or Favorites. Then you can always access it from there. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! Good point. When you are logged into your google account there is an "apps" icon on the top right. Looks like a bunch of little squares. Click that and then scroll down until you see Blogger. Or you can just go to blogger.com and log in. :)
DeleteI answered my question about how to add your own backgrounds to your blog: http://www.ehow.com/how_8544731_upload-background-blogger.html
ReplyDeleteIt worked!
Sorry, though, how to enable a hyperlink is still on my to-do list!
Happy blogging!
