My Life Monday: Vacations!

I am linking up with  Beyond the Worksheet for another My Life Monday! This weeks theme is vacations!! This topic could not come at a more perfect time. I am trying to decide where we will spend our vacation time this year.

My problems:
-I don't like driving. (Vacations should be no more than 3 hours away.)
-Planes are way to expensive. (It seems I can always find a better way to spend $1500 for all 3 of us)
-I hate planning vacations.
-A vacation (for me) is not spent in hotel room.
-My husband will pretty much agree to whatever vacation I choose.

I love taking vacations. I love seeing new things. Every year we end up at Virginia Beach because I give up on the "let's go somewhere new" idea pretty quickly. It's pretty entertaining but I want to go somewhere new. Over the weekend we went to the Richmond Home Show to get some contacts for some repairs and upgrades we are looking to get done on our house. There was a Virginia Beach Vacation seller that we saw. You know, the ones that give you an amazing discount if you sit through their 90 min time share presentation. I have done this 1 time before and for me it is totally worth it. I have no problem telling them that I will not be purchasing their time share. I even told the presentation seller this ahead of time. Any who, he offered me a super deal! $150 for 4 nights in an ocean front hotel! The only problem was that it was in Va Beach. Gah! I am so over Va Beach.

We went at least 2 more times but I guess I don't have pictures for those. Check out that silly 2007 picture! I was going for a cotton candy hairstyle. :)

Help!!
Do you have any ideas on where we should go? I really want to go to New Orleans but the airfare is killing me. At least Lindsay enjoys going to Disney all the time. Disney is definitely on our to do list but I think we will wait until our daughters behavior improves a bit. Maybe when she's age 25? Hopefully around 7 or maybe next year before she starts school.

Currently March - 1st Time!

For the first time ever I am linking up with Oh' Boy 4th Grade for her month currently. These post are so much fun and her new blog design is A MAY Zing!
Listening - My little bundle of joy is extra chatty today. Her goal for today is to make as much noise as she possibly can. :)

Loving - Feb was my best month and it would have been even without the sale. I am still surprised every day that people want to purchase things I created.

Thinking - I'm still hungry. I need to find something to eat fast!

Wanting - I think I always want new clothes. Right now I "need" some new comfy black flats and some cute shirts. Every time I buy a shirt, I wear it 1 time and then it shrinks. It is so frustrating. I'm not skinny like I use to be so it is really important that my shirts fit a certain way. I will gladly take tips for affordable, cute, plus size (never thought I would be in that category) shirts. :)

Needing - OMG I am so over trying to find companies to improve my house. I don't even know where to begin with this one. I want to upgrade many of the things in my bathroom and I need to do them 1 at a time because I am not rich. We just went to a home show yesterday and I collected so many cards and flyers. I guess this week I will be meeting with several more construction people. I just want this to be over.

?????????? - You are supposed to guess this one. :) Good luck.
